Partnership Activities in Kalele, Zambia – but no library mentioned

More news from Zambia but this time featuring activities at St. Francis Hospital, Kalele in Eastern Zambia, which has a partnership with NHS Borders. The link is working in several areas:

  • Diagnosis and management of STIs,
  • Pharmacy,
  • Midwifery – using a teaching module based on that devised by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine
  • Paediatrics – a consultant and paediatrician in training have been working in the hospital.

We have no idea if there is a resource centre, library or someone looking after information resources. If anyone has this information, please let us know.

Follow links from www.thet.org for more information about their activities.
