The Uganda Chapter of AHILA formalised

UG-AHILA (the Uganda Chapter of the Association for Health Information and Libraries in Africa) now has a constitution. This information comes from Paul Ssemwanga, currently Interim Chair of UG-AHILA.

We congratulate the interim executive and all those who have contributed to this important outcome, wish UG-AHILA well, and hope to hear about your plans for the future.

I would like to congratulate Paul and his team for formalising a Uganda Chapter of AHILA; UG-AHILA. Development of functional and operational AHILA country chapters and strengthening of existing AHILA local chapters are some of AHILA’s priority areas this year. This is due to the fact that county chapters will contribute to the strengthening of the association and subsequently achieve AHILA objectives throughout Africa. Congratulations on this great achievement and we look forward to hearing more from you!
