Springer offers free access to research articles on E.coli bacteria

Eighteen people have died in Germany over the last few days, apparently as a result of eating salad infected with a new strain of E.coli. In response, the medical publisher Springer has announced it will unlock access to 400 scientific papers on E.coli for the next 12 weeks, ” to help researchers and medical professionals solve, or at the very least alleviate, this crisis”.

Many thanks to HIFA2015 for alerting our attention to this positive move.
