Partnerships in Health Information ( Phi ) visit to Uganda

In November 2011 the Albert Cook Library at Makerere University will be hosting a visit  by Nick Naftalin OBE, FRCOG, Chair of Phi, Shane Godbolt, Director of Phi and Ania Nogal from the London Deanery. Nick will be facilitating training sessions for doctors on evidence based health care; Ania will be involved in mounting the Uganda Health Information Digest on the Makerere University website and Shane will be running a workshop for IFLA on building strong library associations.

There are plans for a further visit from the UK partners in July, when Web 2.0 and e-learning workshops will be run by the partnership as part of the Elsevier funded project, Enhancing access to current literature by health workers in rural areas.
