A temporary goodbye until after the New Year

Dear Friends and Colleagues

Nigel and I are about to enjoy our Christmas and New Year festivities. So we shall not be sending any posts after this message until after 7th January, 2012.

We hope you have enjoyed or found the posts informative and we look forward to hearing from you in 2012.

In particular we would like to thank our African friends who have contributed to the weblog during 2011. Your posts are always the most popular and continue to be viewed long after they have been originally published. So our grateful thanks to:

Christine Danielle Evina – Cameroon; Saidu Sesay – Sierra Leone; Mulugetu Bayissa – Ethiopia; Osvaldina Brito – Cap Verd; Apollo Kagwe Abungu – Tanzania; Alison Kinengyere – Uganda; Kenneth Chanda – Zambia

We would love to hear from you again! And a million apologies if I left you out of the list below or have spelled your name wrongly. We haven’t kept proper records of contributors and only the spell-checker keeps my bad spelling from becoming obvious

To our other African friends, please make it a New Year’s resolution to send at least one piece of news. Thanks.

We wish you all the best during this Christmas period and for 2012,

Jean & Nigel
