Health information hubs in Kenya

The Kenya National Library Service has been working with Book Aid International to provide ‘health corners’ in public libraries in 15 towns and cities. Over the three years of their operation 30 librarians have been trained.

The Embu Provincial Library (Eastern Province) is quite close to one of the Kenya Medical Training Colleges and serves students and staff at the nearby hospital as well as the general public. Nice photo!
