Call for Papers

The Malawi Library Association ( MALA ) has announced that the XXIst Standing Conference of Eastern, Central and Southern Africa Library and Information Associations ( SCECSAL ) biennial conference will take place in Lilongwe, Malawi, 11-15 August 2014, on the theme ” information and knowledge management as a driving force for socio-economic development in Africa “.

The Association invites the submission of abstracts ( approximately 500 words ) to be considered for papers to be presented at SCECSAL 2014.

There are ten sub-themes, one of which is ” Knowledge and information in health care delivery systems “.

The deadline for abstracts is 31 October 2013.

L’association des bibliothèques du Malawi  (MALA) a annoncée que la 21ième conférence  des associations de bibliothèques de l’est, du centre et du sud de l’Afrique  (SCECSAL)  aura lieu à Lilongwe, au Malawi, du 11 au 15 août 2014, sur le thème “information et de la gestion des connaissances en tant que force motrice de développement socio-économique en Afrique ».

L’Association vous invite à soumettre des résumés (environ 500 mots, en langue anglaise) qui seront pris en considération pour les présentations à la conférence SCECSAL 2014.

Il ya dix sous-thèmes, dont l’un est «la connaissance et l’information dans la provision des soins de santé».

La date limite pour les résumés est le 31 octobre 2013.
