Seeking Medical Librarians from East and West Africa

Jeannette Murphy, Senior Research Fellow in Health Informatics at University College London, UK, is still seeking help in locating medical librarians to contribute to a feature column ( International Perspectives and Initiatives…which she edits for Health Information and Libraries Journal ).

A future issue will be looking at trends in health science librarianship in East Africa. She is trying to identify librarians from  Ethiopia, Rwanda and Burundi who would be able to write a short ( 800-900 words ) piece describing key trends in their country. She will supply background articles from previous issues and provide editorial help and support. Copy is due early February 2015.

The next column after this will feature West Africa, so she is also seeking authors from Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Mali and Senegal.
