Phi’s latest activities

Phi has just said goodbye to three Nigerians on Commonwealth Professional Scholarships. Specially tailored programmes for learning and experience in the UK had been planned for each of them according to their interests. The Scholars included a senior university librarian, a hospital pharmacist, and a consultant at the Drug Information Centre, Association of Community Pharmacists of Nigeria.

All three felt their objectives in coming to the UK had been met and were impressed by the student centred services they saw in UK Libraries and, similarly, the patient-centred pharmacy services as developed in the UK when compared with current Nigerian practice. They planned to implement some of what they had seen on their return home. And were grateful for the support they received from Phi, especially its Director, Shane Godbolt.
