HIV/AIDS Care – Collaborative Project between Ethiopia and Italy

“The objective of the CASA – Ethiopia project is to contribute to improve the quality of care of patients with HIV- infection in Tigray. The achievement of this objective needs a holistic approach including research, training, and the involvement of patients and patients’ Associations”

Some training booklets on communication and basic information on will be translated into the local language; and there will be a report on the project at the European Association for Health Information and Libraries at their Conference in Seville, June 2016. Preliminary results are available from here.

Participating organisations are the Tigray Health Bureau, Mekelle University -Tigray and the Istituto Superiore de Sanitá – Italy.
