The Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) Library is a digital library containing resources for BMETs working in the developing world. It hosts an open-source collection with information about repair and preventative maintenance of medical devices, healthcare technology management, Biomedical Equipment Technician’s Assistant skills, as well as resources on a variety of topics like mathematics, electronics, physiology and more!
The library was created by Engineering World Health (EWH) and Robert Malkin’s Developing World Healthcare Technologies Laboratory. The aim is to make useful resources available to technicians practicing in the clinical environment, as well as to instructors and students in the biomedical field.
